Award-winning private villa overlooking Tokyo Bay —
1 min to the beach, 50 min from Tokyo
CONCEPT
By the sea, where only the waves can be heard —
take a sauna, watch the ocean, gather around the fire.
About 50 minutes by car from central Tokyo and a one-minute walk from the beach, this architect-designed villa won a 2024 Good Design Award. Windows that reach the ceiling frame Tokyo Bay from a soaring, open living room, furnished with high-end pieces chosen for the space — solid timber and fine furniture in quiet balance. Outside there's a barrel sauna, a covered BBQ space and a lawn for putting golf. The whole house is yours — up to 7 guests, perfect for families and groups of friends.
FEATURES
Tokyo Bay fills the soaring windows of the vaulted living room. Sunsets, starry nights, and on clear days even Mt. Fuji.
A proper barrel sauna set among the palms — guests vouch that it gets genuinely hot. There is a cold plunge beside it, so you can run the full cycle somewhere far from the everyday.
Roofed and lit, so it works after dark and in light rain. Equipment is free — just bring food and charcoal.
Shinmaiko Beach is right out front — perfect for morning and evening strolls by the water.
